Find Out About The 12 Survivors Shire 2 Person Tent

When you are looking for a tent you often are going to do your research and find out all that you can about the tents before you buy one. However, when we stumbled across this tent we could not find out much information outside of the fact that it takes almost 2 months to get the tent. Now this is really off putting, but sometimes you will have to wait to get a good thing and we decided to do our review of the 12 Survivors Shire 2 person tent today.

Features Of The 12 Survivors Shire 2 Person Tent

With this tent you are going to find that it has a couple of vestibule areas that are outside of the tent. This will allow you to get the extra storage that you need to have for some of your gear and have the chance to keep it out of the weather and the other items that are present. Now this does not mean it will keep it safe from the rain or items on the ground coming up into the bottom, but it will help keep the items out of the wind and in some cases rain.

The rain fly the tent has is going to extend down over this vestibule area. By getting it to extend down over this area and that will provide the direct rain and wind protection that you may need to have for some of the gear, but also allows you to have a dry area to go out to if you want to get out of the tent and it is raining.

With the tent you are going to get a nylon carrying bag. This bag is going to make it easier for you to get the carrying done of the tent if you are trying to take it anywhere with you, but it will also make it easier for you to get the storage of the tent when it is not time for you to go camping.

Can The 12 Survivors Tent Be Used For Backpacking?

This is a great feature about this tent and that is the fact it does fold up rather small. The tent once it is inside of its pack is going to be around 18 inches long and the diameter of the storage pack is going to only be about 6 inches around. So this can easily fit onto your backpack at the top and be strapped down in most cases.

What Type Of Material Are The Tent Poles Made From?

The tent poles are going to be something that you will want to know about because they are made from aluminum. So these are different than a lot of the shock poles that you have used in the past, but it is definitely going to be something that you need to consider because it could go up different than what you are thinking and that can make it difficult to use the tent if you are not experienced with these types of poles.

Who Would The 12 Survivors Tent Be Best For?

This is a tent that would be great for people who are hiking and want to have a good tent that has storage that is available for protection. However, the downside is this is a tent that is supposed to be for 2 people, but some have claimed that it can be rather small at times and this can make it hard for two people who are larger to fit into the tent.

Who Would Not Like The Tent

This is a tent that can leave you waiting for a while to get it. Since this is the case, you may find that if  you need to have a tent quickly you are going to be disappointed. So people who are going to go camping quickly and need a tent right away will not like this tent because it can take so long to get it.

Our Final Thoughts On The 12 Survivors 2 Person Tent

When you are looking for a tent, you usually need to have the tent almost right away. However, you should realize this is a tent that is made of good quality and with that you are going to end up having to wait for a while to get the tent. So we have to say this is  great tent that you are going to love, but you will need to make sure you are ready to wait for a little bit for the tent to come to you as the delivery time can be up to 2 months.
