Discover The Texsport Compact Dual 2 Burner Propane Stove

When you are cooking outside, you will want to make sure you are using the right stove to get the work done. However, it can be a challenge to find the right stove at times. This is very true when you start to look at some of the stoves that are on the market because you will notice some of them are butane powered, some propane, but they all require an external power source. Then throw in the fact they are going to require a single or double burner it is very difficult to figure out which one you should get. This is why we have continued are camp stove cookware work by doing a review of the Texsport Compact Dual 2 Burner propane stove.

Features Of The Texsport Compact Dual 2 Burner Stove

The burners are larger in size, well compared to some of the other cook stoves that we have reviewed for camping. This is a stove that will hold up to 10 inch skillets on each one of the burners. So you do not have to be concerned about the camp stove not being able to provide you with the cooking space that you need.

A longer cooking time is something else you will enjoy with this cooking stove over some of the others that are on the market. With this stove it is going to last for up to 2.5 hours when you are cooking the food on the highest setting. Now this is great because you normally would not be cooking food for that long at one time while camping. However, even when you turn the stove off it will not leak out the propane that you are using.

The valve that is present for the propane tanks is a pressure regulated valve that will make it easier for you to get the cooking done that you want to have done without the propane leaking out or having any other problems. What else is nice is the fact this is a valve that is brass so you do not have to be concerned about the valve corroding on you.

What Type Of Propane Cylinders Can This Stove Use

This is a good question because it is obviously going to use propane cylinders, but you need to know what kind of cylinders. The best part is this is a stove that is going to be able to take the 16.4 and the 14.1 ounce cylinders. Now these are not included, but they are not that expensive to buy. What is really nice is you can buy any brand of cylinders as the adapter on the mouth of the cylinder and the valves are usually universal.

What Is The Output Of The Burners

You would expect a camp stove to have a decent amount of output, but you need to realize this is a stove that is not that high in the output range. It actually only puts out at each burner a maximum of 5,500 BTU. So you may have some difficulty in getting the food cooked if you are planning on frying anything or if you need to heat anything up quickly.

Is It Easy To Control The Heat Output WIth The Texsport Dual Burner Propane Stove

This is going to be a great feature you will like because it makes it easy for you to adjust the heat of the burner rather easily. That is because you will have a couple of knobs that will make it easier for you to get the temperature output adjusted. So you can turn down the stove if you need to or leave it up on high if you need to. We personally prefer it up on high all the time because of the lower output that is present in the burners.

Who Would Like This Grill

The people that would like this grill are those that are not in a hurry for getting a meal out, but also those who want to have a good grill at a decent price that has enough space for them to put a couple of pots or skillets on that are up to 10 inches around. However, if they are going to go over this size, then you could have some difficulty with the camp stove.

Who Would Not Like This Grill?

This is a grill that people who are looking to cook food quickly is going to hate the grill. That is because this grill is going to take a while for it to heat up and get the food cooked because it only puts out at 5,500 BTUs and that is going to make the cooking a lot slower than what you are used to.

Our Final Thoughts On The Grill

This is a great grill if you want to have a grill that you can use to cook food slower because it is going to have a slower cook time because of the amount of heat that is being put out. However, this also makes it easier for you to get the food that is prepared properly and know that it is going to have the right cooking done. If you want to get your food done quickly, then it will be more of a challenge for you to get the food done with this stove. Overall, this is a great stove that is going to make it easier for you to get the food cooked in a way that lets you have a great meal while you are camping.
