How Many Pockets Does This Jacket Have

The jacket that you are looking at here is going to have 3 different pockets that you can use. Two of them are going to be the hand type of pockets you will find in almost all of the jackets, but you will have another jacket pocket that is on the inside of the jacket. So you are going to be able to easily access some items, but some of the other items you can keep hidden inside of the pocket and safe.

Is This A Waterproof Jacket

The way to answer this really depends on what you are looking at in the way of waterproof. It is a jacket that can withstand some of the lighter rains that you are going to be out in, but if you are in a heavy downpour after a short time period the jacket may start to have some issues keeping you dry as it is going to start to get wet.

What Is The Weight Of This Insulated Jacket 

With this jacket you will find that it is going to have a total weight that is claimed to be only at 13.4 ounces. This does seem a little bit on the light side and this means it will not provide you with a lot of insulation factor for winter camping, but I can tell you it does have 50 grams of the insulation which will provide you with quite a bit of warmth.

If you are outdoors a lot you will want to have some outdoor clothing and I have to say this jacket is definitely a good example of a nice piece of lightweight clothing you can wear. So this would be a great product that can be used by men and women as they do make the cuts for both. What else is great is this will really help out with the cooler days that you may want to have a jacket on that is not overly heavy, but do not plan on going hiking in the middle of winter in.

What Do I Like WIth This Jacket

I love the fact this is a jacket that does have a reliable shell that is going to keep the jacket comfortable and movable at the same time. However, what else is great about this is the fact the shell is one that you will find is used in a lot of the sleeping bags and other items that you are already going to know as being reliable because this is a taffeta shell that you can use and often see with the sleeping bags and even in some tents.

The insulation that I really like here is going to be the Coreloft technology. This technology is not that heavy and it is actually very comfortable to wear. However, you will find that it is going to provide you with the great comfort you want to have as well. So this will definitely help you in getting the comfort that you need to have and keep you warm when the weather is a little bit cooler.

WIth the hood that is here it is going to easily slide over the other items that you are going to be wearing and it is an attached hood. This will make it easier for you to get comfortable in the hood and know when you do pull on the drawstrings to tighten it down, that it will not start to come unbuttoned like I have had happen with so many of the other hoods.

What Do I Dislike With The Jacket

I really do not like in the heavier rains you will find the jacket will start to allow water to start to seep through. This is definitely not going to be a major issue for a lot of people as they will not be out in heavy rains. However, if you are looking at the heavier rains you will find that it can be hard to stay dry as the jacket will start to leak water as the rain gets heavier.

This is a decent jacket. I will admit I had not heard of the brand before I started writing up this article. However, I have to say after reading about this jacket and doing quite a bit of research I really do like it. The jacket is warm and insulated, but also made from a great material. Overall, I have to say this is a great jacket and definitely one that you can enjoy wearing and know it is a great insulated jacket for camping.
