Camping does not always have to involve a tent on the ground or an RV. Sometimes it can involve something as simple as a tent that is meant for your truck bed. The downside is it can be difficult to find the tents that are going to meet these needs. Guide Gear recognized this problem and decided to provide a solution in this form of a tent that is going to fit in your full sized truck bed. So this is going to make it easier for you to get the right gear that is going to help you in getting your camping done without having to buy a ton of extra equipment.

What Kind Of Size Does The Guide Gear Full Size Truck Tent Have

This is a good thing to know because you want to make sure you have plenty of room in your tent for you to be comfortable and have enough room so you are not crawling in and out of your tent. With this tent it has been reported the peak of the roof is going to allow you to have 4 feet of room or so. Now this is at the peak, so you can imagine as it comes down to the sides of your truck bed to secure in the bed. So you can imagine that this height is going to be quite a bit lower than what you may be trying to get to in the tent.

How Easy Is The Guide Gear Full Size Truck Tent To Set Up

Generally you will find all tents are going to have some type of challenge in setting up a tent. With the set up challenge of this tent the challenge is trying to figure out how to put the tent up with the poor directions as people have claimed. However, in the same sentence they are talking about how easy the tent is to put up compared to most of the other tents that they have put in place. With this tent it is going to be mainly using the poles that are going to slip down into the different areas to put the tent up in the bed of your truck.

How Does The Guide Gear Full Size Truck Tent Hold Up To Weather

Face it no matter how much planning you do, you will find the weather always seems to come in when you are camping. With that in mind you will like the fact this tent tends to hold up very well to the rain and other things that Mother Nature can throw at you. Now this does not mean that I would go out and tempt the weather, but it has been reported to withstand a lot of the rain that you may end up facing when you are out in the campground and away from your usual protection from the weather.

Our Final Thoughts On The Guide Gear Full Size Truck Bed Tent

When you are looking at the tent you will think that it does look pretty cool and we have to agree it is a very cool looking tent and one that we actually like the look of and how it sits in the truck bed. Not to mention that it fits a full size truck, which means a full size bed and allows you to sleep. However, at the same time we like the fact this makes it easier for you to go camping and have a great trip. The downside is this means you may have a lot of items in your cab when you are driving down the road because you may not want to store your gear where you will be sleeping at night. Overall, we really like this tent and think that you will love it as well as it does fit perfect in your truck beds.
