The primary thing that I like about this sleeping bag is the style it has. This is going to make it easier for you to have a sleeping bag that has a traditional style of look to it, but at the same time have the chance to get a nice sleeping bag that will have a mummy type of hood as well, that will make it easier for everyone to sleep at night and keep yourself comfortable. Not to mention the way the zippers are run on this sleeping bag compared to some of the other bags it is very easy to see this is one that will work perfectly for what you need to have.

When you are looking at this sleeping bag, you will notice that it is meant for a youth or a smaller adult. I like this because it allows me to get a sleeping bag that can be used by my kids if they need to use one when they go to camps. I really like the fact this is a sleeping bag that can be compressed down quite a bit. While this is a semi mummy style envelope bag that is a fusion type of style, it does not have a high temperature rating. This means you can easily get cold on the cooler nights. The temperature for this bag is only rated down to 30 degrees. So this could make it a little bit harder for your family to enjoy when they are camping in the mountains when the temperatures can easily drop quite a bit at night.

Okay, I have to say this is a sleeping bag that I really like for the fact that I can use it or my kids can use it as well. However, this is also a sleeping bag that is going to be easy to clean because of the outer shell materials. The downside is the temperature rating is not that high, but that is because it is meant more for a summer or late spring bag. Overall, the Lucky Bums Youth Explorer Envelope Sleeping Bag is not that bad of an option to have if you are looking for a youth envelope sleeping bag for your camping gear.
