XPS L2000 Handheld Rechargeable Spotlight

Spotlight For CampingFinding a great spotlight to take camping with you can be a challenge. Sometimes the challenge comes from the fact that you have a lot of lights to pick from, but other times it comes from the fact that you may not know which one of the lights you would need to buy. Since this is the case, we decided that we were going to do a review of the XPS L2000 Handheld Rechargeable Spotlight here. This will make it a little bit easier for you to know if this is the light that will actually work for you or if you are going to need to consider a different light to use or not.

Features Of The XPS L2000 Handheld Rechargeable Spotlight

How Long Does The Battery Last In This Light?

The battery life is going to depend on the different types of power you are going to use for the light. When you are using the low to medium power you will notice it is going to last about 10 hours. At the same time, though, if you have the light turned on all the way you will find the light is going to last you about 5 hours before you start to have issues with it going out.

What Kind Of Viewing Distance Does The Light Have?

When you look at this light you need to realize the viewing distance depends on the lumens that you are using with the light. When you look at this, you find it is going to be up to 180 meters if the light is on high, but when you have this light turned down on low it the distance to see for drops to right about 90 meters, which is a decent distance, but still may not be as much what as what you would expect.

Is The Light Water Resistant?

This is a great feature of this light and that is the fact that it water resistant. This helps out in getting the light on the boat if you are going out on the water, but it also makes it easier for you to bring it camping with you if rain is in the forecast. What else is great is this does allow you to have the light with you for almost all of the trips you are planning on taking and know it can resist the water.

What Do I Like With This Spotlight

I like the fact that this is a light that uses the 18650 Li-ion battery. This battery may not be one that you are familiar with, but for a rechargeable battery, it is fairly inexpensive. This means you can finally find a light that will work for what you need it to do, but it going to be easy for you to buy replacement batteries for if you need to get a replacement battery, which it has been reported the batteries last you about a year or so before needing to be replaced.

The case is very durable for the light and I have to admit this is one thing that I do like. When I looked at the case I was worried it would fail. However, the case is extremely durable and it lasts you for a very long time and makes it easier for you to get the light and know it will work for you for a long period of time.

Finally, I love how bright the light is for this flashlight. While I know this is more of a spotlight you can find that you can use it as a flashlight as well. So I really do love how bright the light is and how it makes it easier for you to see everything that you need to in the dark.

What Do I Dislike With This Light

Now, this is something that I saw reported on multiple reviews and that is the electronics start to go bad really quickly in this light. For example, one of the common complaints that I read was the light would be on and then all of a sudden turn off for a few minutes before it would suddenly turn back on again. The worst part is a lot of people reported they had no warning at all that the light was going to be turning off!

My Final Thoughts On The XPS L2000 Handheld Rechargeable Spotlight

I have to say this is a spotlight that has a fairly poor rating on the different sites that are selling it, but it is always sold out. So that should tell you something about the light right their. With that being said, I have to say I would recommend this light because it does have a lot to offer and the batteries can last a long time. However, you will find that it can be difficult to find some of the supplies you may need overtime. With that being the case, I recommend this light, but I would be guarded because the XPS L2000 handheld rechargeable spotlight is decent but it could have some problems in the future for parts.

How Long Does The XPS L2000 Flashlight Battery Last?

It depends on the power setting you have for the light. If you have it set on high the power is going to drain faster, but on low the power can last for several hours.

Do I Need A Separate Charger?

It depends on what you are looking for and how long you want to wait for the light to charge. Some people have reported a separate charger works great for the XPS L2000 flashlight.

Is The XPS L2000 Flashlight Waterproof?

The light is reported to be waterproof. However, I would not purposefully dip the light into water to test this.
