Our Final Take On The ALPS OutdoorZ Commander Freighter Frame Plus Pack

We really like this backpack. Yes, it is an external framed backpack and it is going to be a strong backpack that is durable according to quite a few of the reports that have been given on this backpack. With that being the case, we really like the backpack, but one key thing that we really like is the internal framed backpacks. However, we do like this backpack. This would be a decent pack for hunting and even for getting the chance to go from one campground to another on the hiking trail. The only downside is, from what I have seen and read, is this is a backpack that does not have enough padding on the straps if you plan on taking this backpack on any of the long adventures that you can get lost on when you are on the trails.
