If it is overcast you will find that it is going to take a little bit longer for the lantern to reach a full charge, but it will reach the charge nonetheless and this will make it easier for you to have a good lantern to take camping with you.

Yes, that is a great feature about this lantern and that is the fact that it is going to be able to be collapsed down into a smaller version that you can use as a flashlight if you need to. Then you do not even have to worry about the lack of sunlight if you are at your home or in an area that you do not have a lot of sunlight.
