The problem is when you are camping it can be difficult to make a cuppa and get yourself out of the funk you may have been experiencing during the day before the cup. However, what you need to realize is just like all types of drinks you will notice you can easily find something that makes it possible for you to make the cup of tea. • This is a kettle that is made of enameled steel. This is going to make it easier for you to have a great item that will last you for a longer period of time. Not only that since this is enameled it will allow you to have the product for a longer period of time than what you imagined and not have to worry about it getting ruined by rust unless you scratch off the enamel.
• Speaking of scratches you will like the fact this is a product that has been kiln-hardened twice at a total of 1400 degrees each time. So this will make it easier for you to have a great product that is going to last you for a longer period of time, but because of the hardening process of the enamel, it will resist the scratching and chipping that is common for a lot of the camping gear.
• Now with most of the kettles, we have looked at they are going to be a little bit on the weighty side. This can easily detract from them being a good fit for a camping equipment. However, one aspect that we found that does work nicely for the kettle here is the weight is going to come in at just around the 22-ounce mark and that includes the lid. Now what it does not include is the water weight, which you know will make it quite a bit heavier, but even then it is not like you will be carrying the kettle around to a campsite with it full of water.
• While it does not state the exact size of the kettle, we did find in the Amazon answers feature some people have stated this is capable of holding up to 10 cups of water. Now, I do know this may seem like a lot of water and if you are not careful it could easily overfill the kettle. So please make sure you use a reasonable amount of water and since you are camping and water is a precious resource only use the amount of water you need right away.

What I Like About The Camping Kettle For Tea

Well, I have to admit the first thing that I like about this kettle is the fact that it is very easy to use. Unlike a percolator that you have to fill the basket and get it put on the stem just right to work, this you just add water and heat up. It is so simple that you can teach almost anyone to use it. Not to mention, since this is a kettle it takes a lot of the guesswork out of the way it is going to work because it does not have anything for you to watch outside of the steam that comes out of it to see if the water is boiling.

A gooseneck kettle is something else that is a great feature. While you may have seen some of the kettles that are just a plain kettle without much in the way of a neck at all, you need to realize this is not always the case. So you will find the gooseneck is a great way to control the flow of the water, but also to help guarantee that you are not going to accidentally splash water straight out onto your hand. Now, this does not mean that it will not happen, but it is less likely to happen if you are using a gooseneck type of kettle.

Finally, I like the fact this is enameled and that can help protect the kettle from getting damaged. While I used to never think about this, I had kids and let me tell you they could destroy a tank if given time. However, the enameling on the kettle tends to make it last a little bit longer and this is a great feature I like as well.

What I Did Not Really Care For

The handle is one of the things that I did not really like. You may be asking yourself, what is up with the handle on the kettle? Well, I can tell you that it is not very well insulated. Since this is not very well insulated you should make sure you have a hot pad around to make it easier for you to get the grip you need to tip the kettle over and pour it out.

The lack of a whistle is something else I do not really like. Granted, this is meant for camping more than in the house, but I have a tendency to walk away from the ettle no matter what. So I am going to have to remind myself to stay by the kettle to make sure I know when it is done boiling or I could have some issues in getting the water boiled properly.

My Final Thoughts On The GSI Outdoors 2021 Tea Kettle

The kettle that you are going to see here is a nice one, but you need to realize it is going to have some issues as well. The main issue I have is the handle gets warmer than what I expect, but also the lack of a whistle. So I have to say that if you rely on the whistle or do not mind having a hot pad with you, then this could be a great kettle for you. However, what you will find that I do like is the enamel setting on the kettle. Overall, if you need a kettle the GSI Outdoors 2021 Tea Kettle may not be that bad of an option for you.
