Pros Of The Archer Outdoor Gear Ultra-Light Duck Down Winter Sleeping Bag

This is a sleeping bag that you will find rather enjoyable because it is going to provide you with some of the best sleeping possible. However, you will also find this sleeping bag is going to make it easier to sleep at night in the winter months because it is a mummy style. The mummy style bag allows you to have protection around your head, but also makes it easier for you to stay warm.

With the Archer Outdoor Gear it is light weight and waterproof shell. These two are generally found in individual sleeping bags and normally they are not combined. However, this is a sleeping bag that has managed to combine all of these factors and that makes it a lot nicer for you if you are planning on sleeping at night and it starts raining or you have other problems with the sleeping bag, like it becoming to cumbersome while you are hiking.

The comfort rating for the Archer sleeping bag is the rated down to five below. So this is going to make it easier for you to have a good time sleeping at night, but also makes it easier for you to have a great time sleeping. So you will not have to be concerned about getting cold at night while using this sleeping bag.

Drawbacks Of The Archer Sleeping Bag

Unfortunately, this sleeping bag does have some drawbacks, but the main drawback that we have seen from quite a few reviews that gave it any type of negative review always bring up the suggestion that the bag is not as large as you would expect. For example, one reviewer suggested that he was just around 6 foot and 220 pounds, but the bag was a little to snug for his comfort level. So I think it really depends on how big your frame really is and how the sleeping bag is going to fit your body style.

Our Final Thoughts

The Archer brand is one that we do not really have a lot of experience with. However, this is a sleeping bag that has managed to have some great reviews and in general is accepted as very positive among all the camping gear that is on the market. At the same time, though, their is the negative about the size of the sleeping bag possibly not being the proper size for people who are larger in size.
