I like the fact these handles are going to fold down and this will make it quite a bit easier for you to get the storage space you need. However, the handles that fold down will make it easier for you to get the right kettle down into the storage bag that you need to have. The downside is this is a mesh bag that can take up some space that you never really thought about before and since this is a mesh bag it can tear at times and this can take up even more space inside of your backpack.

The resistance to corrosion is something else that is nice because I have hard water where I live. This means that this is going to be a little bit more resistant to it corroding and this will help out in getting the product to last me for a longer period of time, but it also makes it easier for me to have the product that is going to keep the heat even because it will not have a lot of the corrosion and build up on the bottom of the kettle base that I get with some of the other products I have used in the past.

What I Did Not Care For

Well, I do not care for the chemicals that had to be used in the process of making the kettle anodized. That is because these have been shown in some studies to cause some types of cancer and I can tell you that this is definitely not something that I want to have to be concerned about having to affect me. So this is definitely something that I do not really care for because it is going to make it very difficult for me to trust the safety of the product.

Yes, I do use that much and tend to use quite a bit more than what most people would think of a single cup of coffee or tea.

The last thing that I do not really care for with this product is the fact that it is going to be missing a whistle. This is something that I do rely on quite a bit as I want to have a whistle screaming at me so I know that my water is done. So a lack of a whistle is definitely something I do not like to see here.

This is going to make it a challenge because you will want to make sure you select the right one. With the Sodial Ultra-light .8L camping water kettle, I will have to give it a pass. It is light for backpacking, but for me I do not like the lack of a whistle nor do I care for the anodized process.
