What I Like With The YETI Tundra Haul Portable Wheeled Cooler

Comfortable Handle To Use

When I have looked at some of the coolers in the past they did have a handle, but it was also the type that had one part that was like a T-handle. This worked great, but at the same time made it very uncomfortable to bring with you as it never failed that the cooler would start to tip from one side to the other and it was always the boxy style handle. With this cooler it has a great handle construction that has padded grips, but also more than a single anchor point.

Can Hold Up To 45 Cans

Now, I know that 45 cans does not seem like it is that much, but if you consider some of the coolers that I have looked at do not even hold that much cans it I easy to see why I would like this. Now, the downside is that not including any of the ice that you may want in the cooler as well. On the plus side, if you are like me you can work the ice in around the cans and that will definitely help the cooler in getting the beer or pop that you have put in the cooler cooled down quickly and easily.

Single Construction Wheels That Are Solid

You may actually be scratching your heads on this one and I have to admit I do not really blame you since its about the wheels. Well, with this model the wheels are more of a solid construction which means they do not puncture like an air tire would if you roll over a nail or even a stiff branch. Now, the downside is the way that I think about the wheels is more along the lines of the big wheels motorcycle that you may have grown up riding as a kid.

Solid Construction That Has The Injected Permafrost Insulation

When you look at some of the coolers on the market you will notice that you have a seam line inside of the cooler. That is because they are not a solid single piece of construction. Well, the Yeti company has taken that into account with this cooler and have made it into a single piece. Then the permafrost insulation that a lot of people have talked about before is injected into the cooler. This allows for better cooling and the cooler to be more durable compared to some of the other models.

The Latches

While the cooler does have some easy to use latches it also helps to keep critters out of your cooler. This makes it quite a bit easier for you to get a cooler that has fairly easy to use latches, but also the cooler has latches that are actually going to keep animals out of the cooler because of the way they latch. As a downside if you do not have the proper strength it may be a little difficult to get into the cooler, but I have not found many people that have not been able to operate the latches on the cooler.

The Weight Of The Cooler Can Be Quite High

The Yeti Tundra Portable Wheeled Cooler is rather on the heavy side and that is when it is empty. The cooler, when it is empty weighs 37 pounds and that is definitely a major issue once you load it down. I mean, who loads the cooler up in their car and then leaves it in the car when they reach the beach, campsite, or even the fishing hole? I do not know of anyone that does that, in fact, I bet most people have the cooler at the end of the car so its one of the first things to come out. So overall, the main drawback that I have to say is some people may have issues with the weight of the cooler.

I have to say that after looking at the Yeti cooler here that I will be looking for a different product to fit my budget. The price for the everyday budget is simply too much and even with a website, which produces some income, it does not make me a ton of money. With that in mind, I would have to say you need to keep your budget in mind when shopping for a cooler. With that in mind, I have to say that if you have the budget and want the great brand name, then the Yeti Tundra Haul Portable Cooler will be perfect for you. Our final thoughts are the cooler is nice and works great and does the job, but only if you have the budget for the cooler.
